After watching the movie sleep dealer i notice a very familiar topic about plugging yourself with wires to control robots . Technology has improve tremendous over the years and it had help save lives. I believe that over the next decades we will control robots with our minds like they show it both Surrogates and Sleep dealer. It can save many lives by specially in Combat battle and High dangerous jobs that can be risky for humans.

  Reading about Michael Pollen'd suggestions about food from his book made me disagree with him because i eat food like Kellogg. As results i have never suffer a heart attack, so i strongly disagree with some of his suggestions. I don't think we will last for long if we eat plants only. Where are all the proteins we need for our body to stay strong? All of these suggestions reflect the same ideas the matrix has shown because its illustrate the real world. What are the bad things we are consuming everyday bad for our health and what should we start eating to stay healthy. Something Michael Pollen suggested that we should start doing is plant a garden with vegetables. Make your life easier and healthier, no more spending money but also it can provide a workout when your in the garden. 
    On my reflection for the class i believe i slack just few blogs. I am still writing  less than 400 words, my goal in the last 3 weeks is to write more than 400 so i can be ready for the CATW. Hopefully i can pass the class so i can get a chance to take the test. I am not ready to retake the class again because i need to graduate in time. Hopefully i will do great . My grammar feels like it needs more improvement. Ideas like how to write a good structure essay is a big part of my short goal before the end of this class. I think i deserve a B- on this course if i end up passing the exam or if my professor lets me take it.

   In the Short film "The Meatrix"it tries to show us a similarity between the Matrix on how two different worlds look between the reality and the original world we all see as perfect. The Meatrix shows how farms are being taken over by factories. It shows animal abuse, chickens beak cut off that prevents them from fighting in  tight cages ,Cows tail cut off,  and pigs being caged up in small cages with little free space to move that can cause them to catch diseases.
   I strongly agree that animals should be treated with care. Although we get our food from them its not right to mistreat them and torture them because they can also feel pain. Animal abuse is one of the biggest problems everywhere, but we still don't act to fix this. Many of the reasons are because of the cost of having to kill them .  I see this all the time, I can't stand eating meat sometimes because i know how our meat food comes. I had to do few projects for my classes and i did on meat package. After couple of months i stop eating chicken but unfortunately i started eating again because it taste delicious.
   In addition I believe that if people can go back to how animal farms used to be raised. Kill the animals less painfully that they can't feel pain. If we did this i think we could all be a happy consumer and know what we are really eating.
  In conclusion, Animal torture needs to stop. They feel pain like we do. I don't want to eat meat that i know animals are being mistreated. Its not good for Us and them.

 I believe that The Meatrix films used The Matrix as the basis for their arguments to show us what is happening to the food we eat. Where does it come from because we consumers don't really see the real world, how the animals suffer and they're badly treated. I think my meat is delicious after its cooked. Sometimes i do wonder how the animals i see are being treated or raised. They film makers wanted to express the same parts of the real movie as actual events that is happening.

   During the movie Neo was given two pills to choose from. The red pill where he go to another world to explore different answers. The bull pill, where he can stay in the normal world and continue his life.
   In the movie "The Matrix" Neo picked the red pill and became a new person. i would have taken the red pill too because I want to know what's my purpose in this world. Sometimes i ask myself why am i here for. What are my short.mid and long term goals.I have a mission and with me taking the red pill, i will find my answers.
  First and most important, becoming both successful in both financially and professionally is my priority.Within the matrix i will know my obstacles. When i enter it i will be a new person. A hero like the way they saw Neo. I would probably be a CPA faster than in the real world.
  2nd and most important becoming a hero in the end. After i finish my goals i would be known by everyone. This is how i see the world of matrix Neo lived.

         Looking back at my work for the 2nd Reflection and Evaluation, felt like it went by too quick.  4 weeks left and its over. I still need more time to work on my grammar and sentence structure because I can't fail the CATW again. I think a lot about my goals and short term goals that sometimes I feel like I need to write it down about everything. I missed 1 entry because of being lazy. Hopefully the last few weeks our professor can give us clues or secrets about what we should do in order to pass the CATW.  Overall if was a good experience typing things on the computer. I believe it’s better because of my hand writing.Most important, when I take this skills to another school or next level of writing I know I will be more prepare. I won’t hesitate to write and impress my English teachers with my writing skills.

  Writing about "The Danger Of Reality T.V" Timonthy Sexton illustrates the dangerous reinforcements that beholds on reality T.V. How it sends consumers the importance of antagonism, the value of appearance over capacity. One of the most importance statements Timonthy Sexton stated is the message T.V shows sends is that there is no point of being educated. When you can get rich in a reality show.
  First and Most important, Timonthy states reality t.v sends message to the viewer about appearance eventually there is always a winner. The contestant whose looks are far beyond the other contestant wins. This is in fact true, many people won't go on t.v to watch a less attractive reporter giving the new. But it's the reality in this world, especially on t.v. I watch American idol just because Jennifer lopez is there, otherwise I wouldn't watch it
  2nd and far important, the dangerous of education. timothy shows how the American dream is not important anymore. Students go to college for a reason to educate themselves and earn high paying jobs to live in a great society. However, with reality shows like Jersey shore, fear factor and dancing with stars there is no point of going to college when you can because rich in the least amount of time. "it makes me drop college and become rich on t.v' I see this happen all the time. Seeming others successful on t.v makes me unhappy while I'm struggling with school.
  In conclusion I suggest that our world is being consumed by T.V and it makes us less educated. Why make stupid people rich?

    Waking up in a perfect world, In the city that never sleeps. Living in a Condominium, Upper east side  Manhattan. Going to work and listening to the opening bell, at the New York Stock Exchange. Ending your day on a luminous night at the Radio City Music Hall, Watching The Lion King. That would be my world i would live in.
     Writing about "The Truman Show" Cristoff creates this world for Truman that he considers a "perfect world" where nothing can't go wrong. From the day Truman was born, cameras records his entire life, following his movements 24/7, 7 days a week,4 weeks a month and 365 days of the year. Truman is in a world that everything around him doesn/t exsit, thery're all actors to make this show reality. However, it was during his college life where he met this girl, both falling in love with each other. Thats where the girl confessed that his world is not real but a T.V show. The girls dad, basically just an actor told truman not to listen, that shes just upset. She was send away to shiji where truman overheard. Years went by and truman is still is looking for her, with a small chance of finding her because  his trap in this perfect world  controlled by Critoff, with no chance out. While Cristoff busy getting interviewd and making money for his shows truman finds a way to escape. Cristoff tries to stop him and gives him 2 choices. " live in the perfect world that nothing can't go wrong or in the real world that there is nothing for him". Truman decides to leave

Blog Entry 7: Reflection and Evaluation

 Taking a good class like this, in semester with Professor Dr Smith, i am sure i can pass this CATW. Unfortunately this is my 3rd time taking this course and i am tired of writing because i don't  what part of my writing i am wrong. laziness has taken over so i been slacking in this class. I have 5 class and the reason i added this is so i can take the other 4 classes with credits. without this class i would be taking only 2 class only. So i had no choice.
 overall i like this class. hopefully i can try and write more. I believe i did in somewhat okay.

    After reading "Allegory of the Cave" again and again i had similar events i experience through. Socrates talks about an underground cave where prisoners all they saw is a wall right in front of them. Appearing from the wall shadows would pop out swarming,, but they did not know that what really created them was a huge fire behind them , reflecting them as a form of shadows.
     Comparing my life with Socrates's Allegory of the cave , when i young, i believed in Santa Claus. Every winter i would grow with happiness because it  was the time of the year  i would get what i wished for. As you grow older you are tempted to ask for more value things; As a result , it wasn't a really good year for me even tho i got cloths instead of what i asked for Christmas. Similar to the Allegory of the cave i was just focus on what i was getting like the prisoners, looking right in front of the wall their whole lives. The year after had the same problem. I asked myself why am i getting less and less. I was still young and eligible for Christmas presents. Unfortunately Things never changed. However we didn't came from a rich family so i knew things wouldn't be as happy i as expected. In school they asked me if I believed in Santa, i replied back " of course " . I was inform that Santa Claus wasn't real. I slowly understood the problem why i didn't get what i asked for.
      Furthermore,  I comprehended that all the toys i asked for were really expensive and it made me realize that having another brother and my parents work hard, it wouldn't be easy. In despite of, The Allegory of the Cave the prisoners acted the same way because out of all the prisoners only one understood the situation and came to help them. 
   In conclusion i realize that it was a great thing because i believed and understood what was happening.

 Reading about  "Allegory of the Cave" the passage states that Socrates talks about an underground cave where prisoners all they see is a wall . They're all chained that what they see in front of them is a wall.  On the wall shadows appear as soul to take them away . The prisoners are scare of the shadow that beholds them but in reality they don't know that the fire behind them is what creates the shadow.  However, a prisoner escapes and sees the cause of the shadow and leaves the cave to see what reality holds him outside. In return to free the other prisoners to tell them the truth he ends up having a bad ending.

What I expect to get out of this class?hmmmm

Writing about my expectation can usually confuse me. passing the CATW test is my first priority to go ahead and take eng101 and 102 which i expect to acquire the knowledge in class this semester.
